I noticed that they are wearing hard hats and safety straps! If they fall, could they suffer a broken leg? If they cut themselves and bleed, would they to be taken to a hospital? Can they suffer a concussion if they fell or got hit in the head with a 2x4? Can they fall to their death? Who would be the emergency room doctors? Where would they go for their training? Would the doctors work 80 hour weeks? Can they get fired for bad medical care?

Weird "new world" artwork from the 2013 calendar
by cedars inmy mother-in-law has a strange obsession with calendars, and orders the society's calendar each year.
this year's calendar is especially weird.
it features images depicting future events - in particular, the society's vision of the new world order.. i've taken the opportunity to scan some of the images for you all to check out.. please note - there are captions for each of the images, but i don't have the english language version of the calendar so i'd rather just quote the scripture used so as not to reveal which country i'm in.. .

Stop Putting Apostate Stickers On My Literature! They "Cost Lots of Money!"
by AuntConnie in"true story" the circuit overseer came to our kingdom hall and read us the riot act (local needs style) "magazines of this quality are not free, they cost money and we are not generating enough donations to defray the cost of the magazines(or running the top of the line printing presses) i get my ass out of bed to place literature in the laundray cleaning, coin opperated shops and some asshole puts his apostate stickers on our magazines.
do you know how hard it is to get up at 6:00 am and how expensive those magazines are costing the organization to print?
please stop defiling our literature, i dont post hateful stickers on your website so please leave my magazines alone.

2012 was the worst year of my life!
* My lovebird died. He was 12 years old and never sick. I took him out of the cage and looks like he's dazed. He flaps his wings out, spins in a circle and is gasping for air. He dies a couple of seconds later. I bought him as a baby. He sat on my shoulders and slept in my hands.
* My uncle passed away after serving the WTS over 50 years. Never got to see the '' new system. "
* My mom, mother-in-law, brother and uncle all were in the hospital during 2012. We spent close to 30 days in all visiting them and many times not sleeping or having time to eat because of going to/from hospital.
* Choked on a piece of bread. Luckily I didn't panic and stuck my finger down my throat to dislodge the bread. No one was home at the time.
* Was diagnosed with sleep apnea and tinnitus. I sleep with a cpap machine and have constant ringing in my ears which I'll have the rest of my life.
* Had the worst year in business with everyone trying to save money due to the economy.
* Didn't go on my planned 10 day vacation with everyone so sick. Sat home and did nothing.
* Lent my daughter money to purchase a new home. Her bank didn't come through at the last second to close on the purchase. So we took out home loan help her close. She cannot get a new mortgage until she lives in home for six months. Hope I see my money soon.
* Fell and hurt my back. Have a herniated disc which I will not repair. Hope I can live with the pain.

OnTheWayOut
The N.I.U. basketball auditorium in Dekalb, Illinois is where my family attends the summer assemblies. It is about an hour away from their house. They leave at 8:00 a.m. and arrive home around 6:30 p.m. Talk about a long day!
My family somehow made it through the Hawthorne racetrack conventions with it's brutal heat. But as my family aged, the conventions at White Sox Park were more brutal. The stands were more open with no shade. The upper decks were so steep that you needed to firmly hold the handrails or you would fall. The sun beat on you all day long. The only relief was if the clouds blocked the sun. The skyboxes were the only way to go. But,as you said... they were taken by the elite.
The Bethel family and all the planners should of been made to sit outdoors in these venues with no water and suffer heat stroke. Then they would of understood why Witnesses hated outdoor venues.

Cicero,Illinois 1970's
Our four day assemblies in the 1970's through the 1980's were pure torture.
They were held at a horse race track in Cicero,IL in the smoking hot and humid month of July. They charged around $2 for parking. It smelled awful from the horse barns that were located next to the track. There were no cool breezes. Just stagnant hot air.
We were told not to hold seats before each assembly. You arrived one hour before the start of the assembly and all the seats that were in an enclosed area with air conditioning were all taken. You would have no choice but to sit outside in the sweltering sun or sit in the stands that had some shade. Sitting outside for 8 hours gave you heat stroke.
The afternoon session always had a Bethel speaker (who probably stayed at a nice hotel downtown and was privilged to hear the assembly in the enclosed air conditioned area). As we are all suffering heat stoke sitting outside in the smoking hot sun, here comes the asshole Bethel speaker walking with an attendent holding an umbrella over his head. They walk him over to the podium ( which is shaded )and he gives his 1 hour boring monotone talk. He finishes his talk and here comes the attendent holding the umbrella over the Bethel speakers head to walk him over to his air-conditioned seat.
The rest of us JAMOKES will go thru this another 3 days.

THEOCRATIC SEDITION : Your whole post made me laugh! Especially when you wrote:
The other thing that sucked was getting off of work and rushing to get back home so I could change clothes and clean up and for what? To sit somewhere for an hour discussing something that I can't even remember nowadays. All that retarded crap stuffed into one hour, the Jonadab class, the seven trumpet blasts, the measuring rod and what the inches represented, and unlimited lessons in stupidity!!!
I remember getting off work at 7:00 p.m. on Monday nights, throwing food in my mouth and rushing home to shower and get dressed for the Book study. The book we were studying was, '' THE NATIONS SHALL KNOW THAT I AM JEHOVAH'' HOW?
Talk about stupidity! The study was about the book of EZEKIEL and how the UNITED NATIONS would turn on the Jehovah's Witnesses. My brain still hurts!

RULES & REGULATIONS
It was always stressed that the five weekly meetings were like the fingers on your hand. Each one was just as important as the next. Which of the meetings were the most boring, bothersome and difficult to listen to? Here is my list:
1. SERVICE MEETING : Nothing more boring than listening to a sales meeting on how to present a book, magazine, or tracts week after week. And don't forget the fake householder who would always accept the book study and magazines.
2. MINISTRY SCHOOL : Listening to little boys around 9 years old (who could barely read) read scriptures while grown woman had to pretend they were talking to another person while out in field service or a Bible Study. Listening to monotone speaking brothers who could barely read.
3. PUBLIC TALK : Talks that are presented year after year with monotone speaking brothers who would put you to sleep on a Sunday morning. Talks that would include on what Jehovah thinks about anal sex, oral sex, gay sex and masturbation in front of little children and senior citizens.
4. WATCHTOWER STUDY : Read paragraph, answer underlined and repeat. Half of Watchtower studies are about obeying the Faithful and Discreet slave and Elders. Rules are always introduced through the magazine.
5. BOOK STUDY : The WTS way of selling books that are sitting in a warehouse that need to be cleared. How many times can you study the ''BABYLON THE GREAT '' book? The only reason it was the least boring of the five meeting was that it was only 1 hour and cookies, cake and coffee were available after the weekly study.
